Becoming a Service Provider on Want2
Want2’s database of service providers includes any organization providing a service to people who are low-income, vulnerable and/or at risk of or with lived experience of homelessness in the Vancouver area. Programs listed in Want2 must meet certain criteria, including:
- Must be in Vancouver or have transportation reimbursed (e.g., a bus ticket). Programs can also be online.
- Must be self-referrable (e.g., no need for a doctor or case worker to refer)
- Must be free or low-cost (less than 15% of the market cost). The majority of programs listed in the Resources are completely free. Exemptions include membership fees for neighbourhood houses, and some medical expenses (e.g., braces, hearing aids, sliding-scale counselling services, etc.).
