Find a resource that meets your needs and preferences with Want2

Want2 provides its users with over 400 self-referable, free or low-cost resources in 13 domains (including employment; learning, training & skills; housing; health & wellness; legal & advocacy; and community & belonging.). While most of these resources are free, some are low-cost – for example, counselling services are available on a sliding scale geared to income, low-cost braces and/or hearing aids.

We know that many other service providers keep track of where to find food, clothes, and shelter, and to avoid duplication, Want2 redirects individuals searching for these to BC211 and LinkVan (both of whom keep up-to-date lists of these services).

Want2 provides an opportunity to browse and filter through resources on your own, or alternatively, answer a few questions from a virtual assistant named Wanna, to create a goal and find best-fit matched resources based on your answers.

Streetohome Foundation verifies resources every four to six months to ensure programs and resources are as up-to-date as possible. Service providers can create their own account (email arielleb@streetohome.org to create a service provider account) and update their own program information in real-time.

We hope Want2 helps you find the resources you need to accomplish what you want to do!
